How to set up favorite contacts on your iPhone
The Favorites section of the iPhone's phone book gives you easy access to numbers that you call often. Saving someone's number as a favorite allows you to dial that number more quickly, and you won't need to flip through your entire address book in order to find it.

  1. Tap the Phone icon on the bottom toolbar of your iPhone's home screen.
  2. Tap Favorites to bring up your Favorites list.
  3. Tap the + sign at the top right of the screen to bring up your list of contacts.
  4. Select the contact you want to add to your Favorites by tapping on their name.
List your Favorites
Favorites are accessed by tapping on the phone icon on your screen, then touching the Favorites icon within your iPhone's phone menu. Each contact will be listed in Favorites by name and what type of number is saved, so the same person could potentially be listed several times. For instance, you may list your mom twice, once as Home and another Mobile.

You can remove contacts from the list by tapping the edit button on the top left of the Favorites screen and then the minus sign beside the contact you would like to remove.
