It is very sexy. I can't believe it's from DELL. It's very light and easy to use. The keyboard looks great. I think overall it looks better than MacBook Air. BUT, the quality sucks. I bought it only for 18 days. One of the screws at the bottom is gone. I don't know when and where I lost it. Another two screws are going to come off too. Come on! How many screws are there? A small chip of paint came off too, although it was tiny. Now I believe it is from DELL. And battery life is very short. At the end, I returned it and got a MacBook Air. It's not Apple is too great. It's the other companies (DELL, HP, etc.) are too lame.

I am not going to go through everyones 'pros' and 'cons' on this notebook, as they are not justified. The simple truth is that it's attributes are to surf the web, portability, great display, and being very sexy while traveling. It accels at all of those things. It has a fabulous display, fast hard drive (SSD), very well designed and built, amazing back-lit keyboard, and does a great job with wifi and the internet. It is not for gaming, downloading songs or movies, unless the ones that are streamed. This is a fantastic little machine that IS worth the money due to the quality of the product. For years, I have told everyone that if I could get a MacBook Pro in a Windows version, I would buy it. Well, I got one and you should as well. This is my new short-trip traveler and I don't regret this purchase at all. It is BEAUTIFUL and FUN TO USE!

Let's get the obvious out of the way first: the Adamo Pearl is pretty thin, and quite good looking. If you've read industry reviews, you've heard it's about .65in thick, which depending on how you view it makes it either thinner or thicker than the Mac Air (which ranges from .75 to .15in). And, like the apple products that may have inspired it, the fit and finish on the laptop is truly superb; it's almost entirely aluminum and glass, with the exception of the plastic keyboard. The etched aluminum pattern which adorns the lid and underside of the Adamo is not nearly as garish as some press photos make it appear, and it's a lovely, distinctive touch. The polished aluminum strip adds to the high-end appeal, as does the use of shatter and scratch-proof glass on both the exterior and interior of the lid. But none of that's really important. What matters is that this thing is actually all-around decent to use. Despite some press calling it slow, I run Adobe CS5 on my Adamo without issue or stuttering. Windows 7 makes the difference in relative speed, I suspect, as original Adamos had Vista (yuck). The solid state drive is phenomenal. It's incredibly fast and definitely worth the trade-off of less storage space (only 128gb). Expect 15 second bootups! The backlit keyboard and trackpad are of incredibly high quality and are very comfortable to use. The screen is very bright and vivid, and the high-def support is great. The trade off is the battery life, which in the real world is about 4 hours as opposed to the 5.5 hours claimed by Dell. The laptop might do that with wifi off, but definitely not online. The charging times are very long, as the lithium polymer batteries used to make the laptop so thin are not as quick to charge as lithium ion type cells. Overall, it's a great laptop which is a delight to use. While pricey, if you like the style, it can't be beat!

The computer is definitely a design-winning model. I have used it for about three weeks now, and performance seems to be just as I expected. Some of the parts were loose when it arrived, but that might have been just because it moved too much during shipment. I totally recommend it.
