What would you call a six-legged, robotic fighting toy for kids? That's what inventor Jaimie Mantzel wants to know. And if he decides to use your idea to name his robot, he'll box up one of the first finished products and ship it to you for free. Mantzel dedicates most of his time to robot invention, and one of his creations is a small octopus-like robot that can shoot sponge rockets, discs, and even ping-pong balls for your high-tech beer pong gaming needs.
Aside from having quite a wide range of artillery, the robots also have protective gear in the form of an armor that explodes when another robot's weapon hits it. Wow! Stuff, the company that's currently manufacturing Mantzel's toy, made a short clip of two robots fighting (that you can watch above) to help you come up with a name.
