Fans of actor Davide Thewlis, who plays Remus Lupin in the Harry Potter movie franchise, have edited together a mash-up trailer of what the sixth Harry Potter movie would look like as a teen comedy.
You probably never envisioned Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as a playful romp about hormone-ridden teenagers, but all of the storylines presented in this trailer actually exist in the movie. And the modern big beat song is straight off the official movie soundtrack.
Mash-ups have been quite popular the last few years with the availability of cheaper video editing software. Ever since The Shining was recut as a heart-warming family drama, fans saw the potential for fun.
With the Harry Potter novel and movie franchise over, expect to see more mash-up trailers and other art as the fans of the series look for ways to continue their love affair with the wizarding world.
