Pac-Man still stands as one of the most timeless, tirelessly fun games of all time, but a new version of it might be able to wear out even the most disciplined retro gamers. The new rendition of Pac-Man — the world's largest to date — is playable in your browser thanks to the magic of HTML5, offers a whoppingly large spread of user-created levels to wend your way through.
The game, created by Soap Interactive with the blessing of Namco Bandai, is so massive it even has a mini-map that shows you where you are in the grand scheme of things. Beyond a full set of personal and global stats on a right-side menu, the creators were even kind enough to include a ribbon that helps drive donations to Japan,
The game was created to promote Internet Explorer 9, but it will run in other browsers, and can even tie into your Facebook account, because, let's be honest — your friends are going to want to know about this.
