A new Facebook app called Shopping Mall integrates some of the social aspects of Facebook with a smooth online shopping experience that many people seem to prefer over brick-and-mortar stores. The app is based on Payvment, a virtual storefront creator that lets individuals or businesses set up shops on Facebook. Shopping Mall brings all these sellers together in one place and makes it easier to browse their wares.
After installing Shopping Mall, you can browse various categories of goods by different sellers, ask merchants questions about items they're selling, and "Like" any product in the marketplace. You can also check out what products your friends have liked, which makes it a perfect tool for gift-giving, or simply starting a conversation over his or her affinity for dog pajamas.
