Dell ships 65 screws in individual envelopes, Mother Nature cries
A recent order placed with Dell for 65 screws was delivered in perhaps the least environmentally-friendly manner we can imagine; each tiny screw was placed inside its own plastic baggy, and then inside one of 65 padded envelopes.

The packaging dwarfs the diminutive hardware and is clearly unnecessary, but just for good measure they were all tossed in a giant cardboard box and then shipped to the customer. And just to give Mother Nature one more jab to the ribs, they included a slew of invoice paperwork, itemizing each of the 65 identical screws. 

Dell's legendarily poor packaging practices have been a topic of discussion before — in 2008 a customer was graced with an order for 50 batteries, each one individually packaged in a large padded shipping box which you can see below.
