Whether you live anywhere near the northeast United States or not, you may have heard about the gigantic noreaster winter storm that blanketed much of that region of the country over the past two days. User Michael Black on Vimeo had the foresight to set up his trusty Canon DSLR on a tripod with a remote timer, taking a still photo once every five minutes — resulting in the dramatic timelapse video above of the incredible snow pileup pictured below.
